Grupamento de Mergulhadores de Combate (GRUMEC) é uma unidade de Forças Especiais da Marinha do Brasil. Com doutrina semelhante a do US Navy Seals e a do Special Boats Service britânico, a sua função é a de se infiltrar, sem ser percebida, em áreas litorâneas e ribeirinhas, e executar tarefas como reconhecimento, sabotagem e destruição de alvos de valor estratégico. Também são especialistas em guerra não convencional, o que caracteriza a sua doutrina de forças especiais.
Foi criado em 1974 e é subordinado à Força de Submarinos, que lhe fornece o principal meio de transporte. O GRUMEC também pode alcançar o alvo saltando de paraquedas ou desembarcando de helicóptero.
O GERR – MEC , Grupo Especial de Retomada e Resgate – Mergulhadores de Combate, congrega o pessoal responsável pela retomada de navios, instalações navais, plataformas de petróleo, bem como o resgate de reféns que venham a ser tomados/dominados por terroristas ou outros criminosos. Utilizam a tática conhecida como VBSS (Vessel Boarding Search and Seizure) e treinam regularmente em conjunto com a maior e mais equipada unidade de forças especiais da Marinha do Brasil, os Comandos Anfíbios.

Em maio de 2014 o Grupo de Mergulhadores de Combate (GRUMEC) realizou uma série de treinamentos voltados para as atividades de operações especiais com equipe da US NAVY SEALS (United States Navy Sea, Air and Land), o SEAL TEAM 2, Força de Elite da Marinha dos Estados Unidos.

O objetivo foi contribuir para a atualização de procedimentos e promover a troca de experiências entre as equipes, ocorreram treinos de tiro, combate em ambiente confinado, primeiros socorros e comunicações.
